Fernanda is native of Brazil and graduated in Civil Engineering from the Universidade Estadual do Maranhao in 2015. In 2013 she spent a year and a half as an Undergraduate Researcher at Lakehead University in Ontatrio before returning home to finish her studies and graduate. After working in Brazil as a project coordinator and estimator for a couple of years, she then moved to Calgary and gained experience offering engineering support on the selection of control valves and instrumentation in the Oil and Gas industry. She is now working on becoming an EIT in British Columbia.
Fernanda recently moved with her family to Port Alberni looking to live closer to nature. She enjoys running, hiking and camping with her husband and daughter.
