Brad has worked for McGill & Associates Engineering Ltd. since he graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Applied Science. He has been a member of Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia since 1992. In 2013, he and Mike Lange purchased the company from its founder, Alan McGill.
With nearly twenty years as a Professional Engineer in the Civil and Structural disciplines, Brad has gained a well rounded level of experience on public , private, and industrial projects. During this time, he has learned the importance of understanding the needs of his clients and has strived to meet their objectives with well designed and innovative engineering solutions. Brad specializes in wood frame and timber engineering along with stormwater management and water treatment/conveyance.
Having grown up in the Alberni Valley, Brad returned to his hometown after studying at UBC to begin his career and to start a family. Brad and his wife Brenda have two daughters and, as a family, they enjoy the West Coast lifestyle of Port Alberni. Brad’s interests include hockey, kayaking, and camping.
